gDiapers?

My friend, Sarah, told me about gDiapers today. In fact, she's so sweet she's going to buy me a "starter kit" for the new baby. Love you, Sarah! I've tried the cloth diapering thing off and on, but they really are such a pain to clean. We've mostly used disposables for my girls. But I like the concept of the gDiapers... all the eco-friendliness of a cloth diaper, but with flushable liners! No stinky garbage even! Check them out!

Can you use any liners, or do you have to use theirs? I have a friend who does cloth with rice paper liners (super cheap) and she loves it... same thing, but it seems like the gdiaper liners are expensive. Am I wrong??

I bet others would work. The liners seem comparable to disposable diapers. Where does she buy rice paper liners?

I have a friend that swears by cloth diapers. They are eco-friendly and economical. She uses Wildflower Diapers. They're on facebook. I also answered your questions on my blog. "o)

I'll have to ask her about where she gets her liners. I'll get back to you. :)

As near as I can tell, you can order 100 rice paper liners online for around $7, and gDiapers wants to charge $15 for 40 of them. Wow.

I just googled rice paper cloth diaper liners, and came up with a bunch of sites.

Also, my friend hasn't gotten back to me, but I'll let you know if she does, because I'm sure she can shed more light on this.

Have you looked at BumGenius or FuzziBunz? I have a friend who likes those. I bet you could use a flushable liner with them, too, although I have no idea.

I'm toying with the whole cloth idea. :)
